For what I write is only my veins speaking, my heart pounding. Foolish and sometimes wise, I live on my words and my tunes, the air I breathe. My soul will be bared, but only as I know it, and I will write, sing and say much, but nothing more.
P.S. Half of the stuff on this blog is mine, created by me. But for the things I reblog/quote, I take no credit.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Four letters. Four letters is all it takes for my blood to boil over. All it takes for my face to turn red. All it takes to get me to explode in your face. The power of that simple word. Simple harmless, but destructive word.
I don’t waste my time explaining a situation to you for you to say that to me. All you say is, “What?”
What don’t you understand? What did you hear? What were you doing when you were standing in front of me, staring at me, watching what i was saying? What is used as a part of a question. Be more elaborate with you question. Don’t use it as a stand alone word. Standing there with Bambi’s face when you just heard what I told you. “What?”
Harry Potter never muttered “What?” when fighting Voldemort. Batman never said “What?”when bagging a criminal. Einstein never asked “What?” when discovering the theory of relativity. You don’t say “What?” when someone says “I love you.” You don’t say “What?” in any situation. That four lettered word equates you to a brainless, rude fool.
It’s a slap in the face is what it is. Use your brain, process your thoughts, make connections! If you told me a heart wrenching story of your dog dying, I wouldn’t say “What?” But I just told my life’s story to you. Not for you to stare at me. But for you to pay attention. I don’t waste my time running my mouth. Speaking so I can hear my own voice. I speak to be heard. I speak to share. I speak because I thought you cared. Not for you to ask me “What?”
